I still consider playin 1-2 hrs aday pretty casual and i have atleat 5 gold zoins at the moment. The way i'm lookin at this (and also the nicholas thing) is that you don't have to do them. Yes it is nice but don't be forced to.
Its nice to have a zaishen quests as it gives you an idea of what to do, if you need the mission then put it in your log and do it when you want (providing the log isn't full).

Idk - I've got 5 gold zoins, and I haven't been grinding the quests. I really can't bring myself to grind the quests - I do the easy ones more than once, but I'm not touching Riverside Province with more than one character just for the sake of 70 zoins. Yuck.

I am bringing otherwise untouched characters through them, I'm having fun, I'm making steady progress towards the heavy equip pack mark... It would be nice if we could buy a light one, then upgrade slowly towards heavy, but I can do without. I mean, I coped before, I can wait a little while longer.

i have 4.5 gold coins -reaching for large one - but playing a bit more than casually. I only wish that I found out about that FA bug =( would have been a nice bonus for 8 chars!
